Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida, United States

Color Zone: Light Blue
Is Camping Allowed? Yes, at several campgrounds
Entrance Fee? No
Description: Big Cypress National Preserve is one of the darkest places in southern Florida. There is a large light dome from Miami to the east, but other than that the sky is very dark. There are several campgrounds to choose from, but Monument Lake probably has the least amount of trees blocking the sky. Watch out for alligators!
