Description: In the south of France, near the border with Spain is Pyrenees National Park. Some of the darker skies in Western Europe are found here. The only problem is the high mountains block much of the sky if you’re in a valley. But if you take the cable car to the Pic du Midi Observatory at 2,877m you’ll find a 360° view of the stars.
