Description: Grasslands National Park is an extremely dark place with not a single source of light pollution visible. It was designated a dark sky preserve by RASC in 2009. The wide open prairie provides an excellent view of the stars, and the northern lights are a common occurrence. Both the west and east blocks have campgrounds with electricity. The photos and coordinates are in the east block.
