Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota, United States

Color Zone: Dark Gray
Is Camping Allowed? Yes, at Juniper Campground
Entrance Fee? $20
Description: The skies here are very dark to the south. But unfortunately there is a good amount of light pollution to the north from fracking activity. Don’t expect to observe directly from the Juniper Campground because there are too many trees. But there are several parking lots along the park road that would be great for stargazing.
